Pastor Larry Johnson Legacy Fund
Remembering Pastor Larry Johnson:
Pastor Larry served in Christian ministry for 51 years. He truly had the heart of a pastor.
His "greatest desire was that people would know and experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ". Pastor Larry and his wife Doris, "the love of his life", were married for 59 years. Larry and Doris were a team, a true example of a “God honoring” marriage and they demonstrated what it means to serve the Lord together. Pastor Larry spent his life loving and serving people. He spent the past 27 years ministering at Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church, Rock Springs, WY. Pastor Larry died one year ago after a "brief and courageous battle with cancer."
Pastor Larry loved and encouraged world
missions. As a
missionary worker with Keys Connections,
I (Paul Beech) was pastored, encouraged and supported by Pastor Larry. He and Doris encouraged one of their granddaughters to take a mission trip with our organization. Reaching the world, for Jesus, was on his heart.
The goal of the newly created Larry Johnson
Memorial Fund is to provide the training that is essential for national Christian workers to serve in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Keys is supporting a variety of evangelistic ministry outreaches as part of our overall training program. The hub of this training program is located at the University of Divine Grace (UDG) in Moldova. Your support of these efforts will ensure that the love of Jesus is shared around the world and it will honor the life-long mission of Pastor Larry.
The Larry Johnson Legacy Fund is open and available to receive donations through the end of August 2024.
